Bucket: my "source" is the definition of the word orbit. However, after making the change the word "orbital" will no longer appear. Therefore, I should not use it as a reference and instead just explain the concept to whoever is trying to use that word- you. Carves (talk) 16:50, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

That wouild count as WP:OR and not allowed....Face it, it isn't your viewpoint we are using nor mine, WP:NPOV. It only matters what's sourced and this one is. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 16:53, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Then use the movie itself as a source and call it a "space jump". "orbital" is only used by people who don't know what orbital means and ALSO don't remember what term was used in the movie. Something wrong, with a source, is still wrong- even on wikipedia. I can't use orbit as a reference on my edit since I'd be referencing something that is no longer refered to. I could reference the "bad astronomy" link if you'd like though.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
