Autbahn_switzerland.png[edit]

Hi! I'm trying to make a map of the highways in Bulgaria without a great success so far. I saw the map of the Autobahn network you have uploaded in the english wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Autbahn_switzerland.png and i was wondering if you can give me some guidance in the mapmaking process. Please contact me at my talk page: User_talk:Cassini83

I used Adobe Illustrator for creating the map. I don't know what software you're using for creating your maps, so could you tell me it? --Filzstift 15:37, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I never would try it with MS Paint ;). It should be a vector based drawing or illustrating software and not a bitmap based like Paint. MS Powerpoint should also be possible, if it has good tools for drawing smooth lines. --80.218.127.222 07:46, 22 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Where did you get that map?[edit]

I noticed you created the map that appears on top of the Austria-Hungary page. Do you have any alternate versions of it I could use, esp. without the world map inset box? It's a fine map. --Shadarian 03:38, 26 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't get if from anywhere, I created it :-) And yes I can make one without the world map. I haven't had much time to contribute to wiki recently because of my work schedule so just give me few days and I'll make one :-). I'll post here when it's done. --cassini83 16:13, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot. --Shadarian 22:40, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

All set. The new map is called Location-Austria-Hungary-02.png --cassini83 15:58, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Looks good - Thanks! --Shadarian 03:32, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
