He meets notability, but the article is off-balance in two ways: 1) there are no verifiable references for taxa he named (that could be a link to an external source) 2) there are too many publications listed - 80 is just too many. Select closer to one dozen of the ones that are most highly cited. Presumably his own page has the full list.
