Well, I obviously disagree with you that they "went beyond their rights", but that's my opinion. "there is nothing to prove such a thing they implied"; of course there isn't; they were expressing their personal OPINIONS, which is perfectly acceptable. Just because JM is a candidate doesn't mean people can't express their opinions about him. I highly doubt anyone would be able to bring a case over this being 'libel' (slander is spoken, libel is written) as it is clearly an expressed opinion and not a malicious statement of fact (not to mention it's a JOKE on a COMEDY show).

Anyway, did you look through the Criticism of Family Guy article? There's tons of criticisms in there. If you can find a reliable source suggesting the same thing as you (somehow I doubt you will be able to), by all means, add something to an article. Nobody's stopping you!
Finally, I'm not sure what you were implying by calling me a "well placed supporter"; you asked a question in a public place and I felt inclined to answer.
