Citation help

[edit]

Hello! I was thinking/worrying that all of your citation questions might not have been answered in class, so I wanted to stop by and encourage you to let me know if you have any other trouble. AmandaRR123 (talk) 20:53, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

AmandaRR123: thank you so very much! I am currently using your citation help page to guide the last steps of my article. I really appreciate your help and may be in touch in the coming days if I need any additional guidance! Thank you again. Ceaseandexist (talk) 22:57, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Ceaseandexist: Nice job on improving your citations! I tweaked a few more things, mostly adding newspaper name and location to the obituaries. See here, where I added NY Times and location. You had the article title and date, which was nice, but we also want to give readers the newspaper title and location. If the web link breaks, they may have to Google up the new location of the article, and knowing which newspaper it's in is very helpful. I added that info to a few others, so there's only one left: your reference #10, which needs the newspaper title and location. When that's done, and you feel like all the other citations are to your liking, go ahead and be bold and remove the tag at the top of the article! If you like, you can leave an edit summary saying that you've finished improving all the citations and are therefore removing the tag. And good job on finding and referencing all the obituaries. Ways to improve The Elma Lewis School of Fine Arts

[edit]

Hi, I'm Cornellier. Ceaseandexist, thanks for creating The Elma Lewis School of Fine Arts!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Thanks for creating this in WP! Let me know if you need some help resolving the tag I added.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Cornellier (talk) 03:33, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Cornellier! Thank you very much for your help, and for pointing out the issue with the article lead. I have resolved it by adding another citation and removing the tag. Your help is much appreciated to contributing to making this the best article it can be!
