About some old edits
[edit]This message is about some pretty old edits of yours (December 2020), but I figured I'd drop you a line anyway: {{moth-stub}} is fully redundant to its sub(-sub-sub-etc-)categories like {{Boarmiini-stub}} (it's a more specific type of moth stub) and thus shouldn't be used in combination with it. (Especially since most of those sub-however-many-level categories were created specifically to break up the massive amount of moth-stubs into categories of an easier-to-handle size) No big deal, just figured I'd explain why I'm undoing a bunch of your old edits. @AddWittyNameHere: Oh, I don't really mind. Thanks for reminding me anyway. treekangaroos (talk to me | contribs) 22:02, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
- Okay, glad to hear so! Have a great day! AddWittyNameHere 22:04, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
@AddWittyNameHere: You too! Happy editing! treekangaroos (talk to me | contribs) 22:06, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
Confusion over removal of edit
[edit]my edit on the Peter Grant (book series) page was removed which I do completely understand since I did it in a silly way i should've noticed, however after correcting this and not including any pertinent copyrighted material and trying my best to minimise it coming off as an add you removed it, and no explanation for the edit was provided, what was your reasoning for this, thanks (sorry if this comes of as passive aggressive) Simonéwallabee42 (talk) 20:53, 27 September 2022 (UTC)
@Simonéwallabee42: I advise you to read Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion. Then you'll understand why I reverted your edit. treekangaroos (talk to me | contribs) 23:27, 27 September 2022 (UTC)
Sorry I sadly don’t understand, it feels just as in line as the rest of the other plot summaries, and I intentionally tried to make it as to not be soapboxy, thanks for the link Simonéwallabee42 (talk) 06:44, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
@Simonéwallabee42: You're welcome! Sorry to hear you don't understand. If you ever need any help, try asking for some at the Teahouse. Maybe you'll find better advice there. treekangaroos (talk to me | contribs) 13:37, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
Thanks for the advice, I have just realised you may have seen my previous edit which also got removed because I was silly and forgot I couldn’t just copy blurbs, which was quickly removed, so did you see the old version since it hadn’t properly changed yet and tried to remove that because it was badly done and so incidentally removed the newer more objective plot summary, because that would make more sense lol Thanks Simonéwallabee42 (talk) 15:48, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
@Simonéwallabee42: No problem. Happy editing! treekangaroos (talk to me | contribs) 18:26, 28 September 2022 (UTC)

- @Ltbdl: Oh, man, my bad. I'll be removing the crescent now and replacing it with just the Unicode symbol. The last time I checked, it just said it wasn't recommended, not flat-out forbidden. Thanks for reminding me anyway though. ☽ treekangaroos (throw me a line) 11:59, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
