Rocket Lightning or Rocket-triggered Lightning

[edit]

Hi Celcom. On February 21 you added [1] a picture of what you labeled "rocket lightning". Just to clarify, did you mean "rocket lightning" or "rocket-triggered lightning"? Cardamon 02:47, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cardmon. The original photo was an 8 second exposure at F/2.8. The vertical shaft of light in the centre of the image seemed to correspond to the "Rocket Lightning" description found on the Wikipedia Lightning page. It was not caused by a rocket. Celcom

Hi Celcom. I live in Tuggeranong and I saw this really weird looking white cloud which I guess would have to have been hanging over QBN/JBM. I filmed some of it at 8:33 P.M. (Our time) and this all took place on 26/02/2008. Any clues as to what on earth that kinda lightning is called? - TuggBoy —Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.68.10.29 (talk) 15:15, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I'm not a lightning expert, I just like getting a good time exposure. I use the "lightning" page to classify my photos. Regards

Bungendore Wind Farm

[edit]

Can you tidy up the image you put in the Bungendore entry? The pic is placed so it overlaps with other images, and I don't know enough about image placement to sort it myself. Cheers DermottBanana (talk) 00:51, 23 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Zillmere046.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Zillmere046.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 11:16, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Architecture debt requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Noformation Talk 04:45, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation

[edit]

Your upload of File:Cicada se aust.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Changes in queanbeyan

[edit]

Hello Celcom,

I am now residing in Queanbeyan and though you might like to know that the old 'administration building' which has been empty fro at least 32 months, is currently being demolished.

The 'Top Pub' near the station has also been refurbished, and is now glossy black tiles and more after being rough concrete for about 2 years.
