Balrog

Hi -- nice to see a new keyboard in the group. Your edits to Balrog have a lot of good points, but on balance the previous version is better for the time being. Your version introduces things we don't know from Tolkien ("OR", or "original research"), or things we know not to be as Tolkien described them. It is still an "in-universe" description: i.e., talking about the subject from the viewpoint of the books themselves, rather than describing them from a real-world perspective. (I think WP makes too big a deal of that -- in-universe discussion is to some extent unavoidable in describing fictional worlds.) -- Elphion (talk) 14:02, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
