List of LG laptops

[edit]

Hi Cfsprt and welcome to Wikipedia (it looks like yesterday was your first edit?)

Just to say that as we noted this morning at WP:RMTR, the List of LG laptops page should remain as a list, and should include all the relevant info that it contained this morning, in list format. I'm not saying it's brilliant and certainly needs a lot of expansion, but as a bare-bones list it's not too bad, and removing a lot of info or folding the different models into prose isn't really helpful IMHO. Also, there are a few uncited bits and bobs, but we don't usually just chop those entirely unless you can demonstrate that they're untrue. Best just to stick a {{citation needed}} template on the affected lines.

Re your cited line that you introduced, I've added that one back in.

Hopefully you can expand the info in the new LG Gram article too as you proposed. Cheers  — Amakuru (talk) 16:04, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. FYI yes, this is my new user account replacing User:Chifonr for which I've lost the password for.
Alright thanks, at least acknowledging it's not in a brilliant state at the moment. I don't like seeing the sub-headings with no info other than a bare year, it just looks poor quality by Wiki standards. I'll add a hatnote for it to hopefully improve in the future.
Also, since a new LG Gram article has been created, the long specifications table on the List article is no longer needed here too. I'll get to removing that now. Cfsprt (talk) 16:11, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, having an infobox in a 'List of' article also isn't standard, and I support ridding of that. --Cfsprt (talk) 16:12, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
