Speedy deletion nomination of Frieder Burda

Origin of the domestic dog

Hello Champlax, regarding your recent edit on the above page, I draw your attention to: http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/us/words/that-or-which-american The same rule applies in the English version of the dictionary. Additionally, you have removed the connection to extant European wolves from the paragraph which was one of the key findings in Thalmann - it helped to indicate that dogs were domesticated first in Europe. However, that probably does not need to appear in the lead section of the document as it is quoted in the body under Thalmann. Please be very mindful of edits to scientific-based pages because a simple change of wording from what the researcher originally wrote (in this case Thalmann) - no matter how well intentioned - can change the meaning and context.
