About what you asked in Talk:Brazilian Federal District

Brasília and Brazilian Federal District are not the same. The thing is: The Brazilian Federal District is so little that Brasília is the only important or "big" city there. That's why there are a lot of repetition between the articles, but there are many other little cities inside the Brazilian Federal District, like Ceilândia, Paranoá, Taguatinga, São Sebastião... It is not like Washington D.C. and District of Columbia, I can tell you that, I live in Brasília.EliasTheHorse (talk) 23:27, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Chanheigeorge! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 45 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 708 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

Unreferenced BLPs

Hello. I've noticed that you still creating new articles about footballers that are unreferenced (e.g., Germano Boettcher Sobrinho). Also, as I go through the list of old unreferenced BLPs, I can see many of them that you started when you were new to Wikipedia (DASHBot left you a notice in a message that is listed just above here). I've been adding references to some of them, but was hoping you would help with some, otherwise they may be deleted. Best regards. Jogurney (talk) 16:03, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Roy Rea's DOB

Sorry, what's your source for Roy Rea's DOB? Thank you...! --necronudist (talk) 10:47, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I supposed... but the edit on that page is clearly unsourced as you can see by the comments lower on the page. --necronudist (talk) 11:04, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

Spanish La Liga Europa League rules for Europa League

OK, I've read your correction about the Atletico "no-next-EL" and I would believe you have reason. Then, I have another question in the rules, if Seville wons the Copa del Rey, Atlético wons the 2009-10 Europa League and Seville will finish 5th in La Liga, what happens with the 5th and winner Copa pots both wins by Seville? Atletico will be in group stage as winner last Europa League, and it will be another club for some pot of the two acquired by Seville? thank you 81.44.95.47 (talk) 02:27, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

If Atletico Madrid lose both finals and Sevilla finish 5th, the play-off round places go to Sevilla (cup winners) and the 6th placed team, and the 3rd qualifying round place goes to the 7th placed team. If Atletico Madrid lose both finals and Sevilla finish 4th, the play-off round places go to the 5th and 6th placed teams, and the 3rd qualifying round place goes to Atletico Madrid (cup runners-up). So if Sevilla is assured of 4th place, then Atletico Madrid is assured of a Europa League place. Chanheigeorge (talk) 02:51, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

well Chanheigeorge, thanks for the good response and explanation, so excuse me for my insistence hehe, I was saying that if Atlético will win the Europa League (then assured Group Stage of the next Europa League as Title Holder), Seville finishes 5th in La Liga (then assured Play-off stage of the next Europa League as 5th place) and Seville will win the Copa del Rey final (then assured another Play-off stage pot as winner's cup), so being Seville occupying two pots, what happens then? it will be another spanish club for take place one of the two pots occupated for Seville? it's complicated! so, thanks for the response 81.44.95.47 (talk) 03:01, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
Sorry for not understanding your previous question! I think what will happen is that Sevilla and the 6th placed team will enter the play-off round, and the 3rd qualifying round place for Spain will become "empty", so no team will take that place. To compensate, teams from other countries will be moved up a round. You can read the details at 2010–11 UEFA Europa League#The Title-Holder. It is indeed quite complicated! Chanheigeorge (talk) 03:15, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
Ok thank you very much from Spain Chanheigeorge! so reading the section you recomended to me, I think that people who edit this didn't expect the scenario that I commented to you. Greetings 81.44.95.47 (talk) 03:20, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

World Cup player categories

You added Category:1934 FIFA World Cup players to the Gyula Polgar page, despite him not playing a match in the tournament, and the introductory page for that article refers to players who 'participated' in the event, which would normally be taken as playing a match. I can't see the logic of adding a player to this category when he hasn't actually played. I agree it is still noteworthy to have made the squad, but this is being picked up via the template anyway. I would welcome any further thoughts you have on this, or if you could point me to any past discussions. Regards Eldumpo (talk) 20:31, 29 May 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, see post at [1] Eldumpo (talk) 09:12, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

Volley

I have seen that you edited some volleyball articles. Some players articles, most of them looks outdated. I would like to improve players by country. Could you please choose a country to contribute with? Please take a look on Yekaterina Gamova, Hélia Souza, Serena Ortolani and Kenia Carcaces for a model to follow. Please can you please improve some volleyball players with infobox and some addons? References are very important. Let me know. Oscar987 21:59, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 19:19, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Extra time victories

My mistake about the extra time victories in the World Cup, when i lokked up Senegal from 2002 i looked at the wrong team in the group stage, my mistake. Thanks for clearing it up. Sznax (talk) 21:45, 26 June 2010 (UTC)

continental interference

George, it might be useful to have a list of Pacific Island cities somewhere, but the fact stands that oceania is not a continent. Continents were never intended to divide up every possible location, some countries are just not part of a continent. If you'd like to contest the centuries-old definition of continents, then your best bet would be on the discussion page for Continent Owen214 (talk) 08:28, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Azerbaijan, Latvia

I agree with you, but some don't: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Adigeni_Municipality&action=history . Now some of the raions have different names.

Then there is also wrong capitalization for parishes and municipalities of Latvia:
