Welcome

[edit]

Hello, ChaquellaM and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Go through our online training for students

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Justiyaya 07:28, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, ChaquellaM, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hello! Welcome back to your user's talk page. It looks like you have yet to assign yourself an article to edit. Please do that by watching week 7 video in Blackboard where we share how to do it. In week 8, you and your peers will be able to review the articles and then for week 9 we will use our talk pages that articles have been reviewed by peers. You've been assigned two articles to review as well. Once you are done creating and completing the Peer Review page, let your classmate know that you've reviewed their work by posting on their talk page like I have here so they can begin to incorporate your feedback into their draft. Your article has been moved back to your userspace

[edit]

Hi ChaquellaM, I noticed the article you were working on at Life of Anne Brown. Sadly, that was the wrong place to move it to. No issues. It has been moved back to your userspace under the title User:ChaquellaM/Anne Brown. You can continue to work on it here, and this will still be visible to your instructor, fellow reviewers and everyone else. Once you're satisfied with your work, you can edit the existing article on the topic, i.e., Anne Brown and improve it for readers all across the world. If you need any help you may leave a message for me at User talk:CX Zoom. Thanks for your contributions and Happy editing! CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talkCL) 07:46, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
