Welcome[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. Click on Notability for an explanation of what that means, and on Notability (organizations and companies) for more detail. Also, it must give independently verifiable sources. Articles that don't meet these requirements are likely to be deleted.

Thank you for your fast response. Very clear. Even if I write something neutral about my company, I believe I would still be in a conflict of interest. I'll read everything I should read before going any further.

Copyright problems with Scéno Plus[edit]

Hello. Concerning your contribution, Scéno Plus, please note that Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images obtained from other web sites or printed material, without the permission of the author(s). This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.sceno-plus.com/en/about. As a copyright violation, Scéno Plus appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Scéno Plus has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.

If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License (CC-BY-SA) then you should do one of the following:

However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Please note that even if the copyright issue were resolved, the promotional tone of a company or personal website may well be unsuitable for an encyclopedia article, which requires a neutral point of view. JohnCD (talk) 19:40, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Scéno Plus, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. -- Shadowlynk (Talk) 19:49, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your information. Please delete what I have been writing about Scéno Plus. I'll read what I have to read and see if there will still be a conflict of interest. Best regards,

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Scéno Plus, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Scéno Plus and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Stifle (talk) 15:21, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
