New Buckenham.

Good morning. I note you deleted another entry on New Buckenham, you were also warned for edit warring. Please could you let me know what you see is wrong with the addition of a link to the village archive webpage ?, thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Observer900 (talkcontribs) 08:06, 21 March 2016 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) Hi.You sent me a nice reply thanking me for my contribution. Can I please repeat what I thought was an important point, which is that you should take this to Talk:New Buckenham. It's sad that there is nothing at all there yet, as it's where this conversation should be taking place. Also, it would be really helpful if you could please add comments at the bottom of sections, so they run in chronological order, and sign your Talk contributions with four tildes, thus: ~~~~. Hope this helps, best wishes DBaK (talk) 08:36, 21 March 2016 (UTC)

hello, as mentioned previously, could you please tell me what credentials you have to be editing/ deleting my input, what is your role in this >, are you an official editor or something like that ??, thanks. Observer900 (talk) 14:34, 15 March 2016 (UTC)

(talk page watcher)It would perhaps be as well to take the advice given, rather than question the good faith of the editor prividing it. Please WP:AGF as to why you should be a trifle more collegiate, and also see WP:RS for the standards required of your edits. WP:OR will show you how we cannot, as much as we would probably love to, accept your personal knowledge in place of reported fact. I have already provided you with a wealth of secondary sources regarding the history of the place for you to peruse and use. Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi 14:41, 15 March 2016 (UTC)

as requested citations and detail added. please discuss via here before making further changes as advised in the guidance. are you an official 'editor' or overseer ? ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Observer900 (talkcontribs) 12:15, 13 March 2016 (UTC)

note; the version you are putting in is mine from a previous incorrect edit, you are assuming my previous incorrect edit is right, it isn't, it is factually wrong..... .. please leave it alone, have you ever been to this place, what knowledge do you have of the location, please explain? Observer900 (talk) 10:28, 13 March 2016 (UTC).

hello, your comment noted. Published maps are a source, all maps I refer tom are 'published'....the Ordnance Survey is a published source, you clearly do not know this village, you are seeking to insert material that is simply wrong, ..... Observer900 (talk) 10:23, 13 March 2016 (UTC)

hi, please resist the temptation to 'revert' my edits and detail to this page, I know this village well, have done for 50 years and family long standing landowners there. what I have put is factually correct. - what are your 'sources' for alleging you know better please ?, thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Observer900 (talkcontribs) 10:06, 13 March 2016 (UTC)

No matter how well you know the village Wikipedia requires reliable published sources. Without them it will be reverted.Charles (talk) 10:10, 13 March 2016 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) With the greatest respect, @Observer900:, you really need to lose the attitude and strive to work collaboratively and politely with people giving you good advice. Throwing your weight around and insisting on the respect you must have is never going to work out well here. I promise you; I've seen it a million times. It is entirely possible that the material you want will indeed end up in the article ... but only if it is properly cited. This is where your expertise comes in; because you know what you want it to say and are local, you are probably best placed to find those reliable sources that we need. Without them, we don't have an encyclopaedia: more a blog, or a forum. Best wishes DBaK (talk) 11:03, 13 March 2016 (UTC)

Is there a specific policy you'd like to cite on not listing bus stops? BRT is not equal to a regular bus route and these stations are notable on their own. Some BRT systems even have articles for each station, though I'm not advocating for that in this case (with the exception of the termini at major transfer stations). SounderBruce 20:35, 24 March 2016 (UTC)

Notable my arse.Charles (talk) 20:40, 24 March 2016 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) That policy is WP:NARSE, of course Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi 20:48, 24 March 2016 (UTC)

Speedy Deletion of the Wikipedia Page : Flying Fox Jodhpur

Hello Charlesdrakew,

I think that you might have deleted wikipedia page "Flying Fox Jodhpur" created by me wrongly. I was just trying to put some useful information. So, I request you to revert the deleted page or give me the backup of the page, so that I can make it in accordance with the policies of Wikipedia — Preceding unsigned comment added by EpicTraveler (talkcontribs) 10:55, 20 April 2016 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) @EpicTraveler: Looking over the deleted page, it looks like it was deleted correctly. You were adding information that was phrased like advertising. You might want to read WP:WTW and WP:42. Ian.thomson (talk) 11:01, 20 April 2016 (UTC)

Hi Charlesdrakew,

That's why I am asking you to revert back deletion so that I can correct my mistakes which doesn't comply with policies of Wikipedia. Please help me so that I will be able to contribute to wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by EpicTraveler (talkcontribs) 11:08, 20 April 2016 (UTC)

Charlesdrakew appears to be away at the moment, which is why I'm responding (though I'm not going to be on much longer, either). He actually cannot restore the page. He wasn't the one who deleted it, he just tagged it for an administrator to delete. Ian.thomson (talk) 11:16, 20 April 2016 (UTC)

@Ian.thomson so can I get the backup of the page so that I can redo it in compliance with the wikipedia policies. Or I have to again make the same page again ? Can you help me in this ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by EpicTraveler (talkcontribs) 11:21, 20 April 2016 (UTC)

Forget it. The subject will not meet Wikipedia notability guidelines for a stand alone article.Charles (talk) 13:09, 20 April 2016 (UTC)
Oh I kinda figured looking over the deleted article that it probably wasn't ever going to be seaworthy. I only glanced over the other discussion, but I'll have to look further into the user later. Ian.thomson (talk) 13:33, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
