Some remarks[edit]

Dear Charlotte,

It was a real pleasure reading the draft of your article on the 'Authentic Account' of 1797 by Staunton. Thank you for that. I have seen the remarks, made by Ernst, and I think you have already fixed quite a few of the suggestions he made.

The book is very notable, and your article might become a valuable contribution to English Wikipedia.

Some remarks:

  • perhaps you can use the Template:Infobox book. It automatically causes the title of the lemma to appear in italics, and places the book in some categories. Besides that, it brings some uniformity into all the different articles on en-wikipedia. See e.g.
  • For the title: just use 'An Authentic Account of an Embassy from The King of Great Britain to the Emperor of China'. That's the name of the book. And perhaps it works out better when you use this short form in the first line of you article, and give the full title in the first paragraph. That makes the intro of the article more easily readable. And especially the first sentences must be easily accessible for all readers.

Many greetings, --Dick Bos (talk) 14:47, 31 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
