talk pages

[edit]

You may not know this, but on another user's talk page, we normally do not alter what they or anyone else has said, except for removing vandalism. You should not have hatted my response to you; I have expanded it and will keep it that way until I archive it. (On one's own user talk page, one may do pretty much as one pleases--thus, I could and may unhat your comment.) On article talk pages, sometimes we reformat or hat another user's comment, but it's considered a rather unusual step to take, except when absolutely needed for clarity or when hatting an entire discussion or sub-discussion. Not making an issue of it, but just so you know. DGG ( talk ) 02:20, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
