Ok[edit]

Its okay, I never saw any warning Template. Besides, time will tell. If people think it seems in correct, then I'm sure some will say so. Its just that its the first line and its sounds kind of funny. Well, I won't let this hurt my pride!! If we were pilots I would say "may you have hunt well". To you I say, "Good editting!". Thank You![edit]

Thank you for telling me about that very uncivil remark I made about Zionists. It was totally unecessary and i thank you for informing me of what I had previously done. I took it off and will make sure not to post anything as rude as that on Wikipedia.

Thank you !

And thank you for your interest in my page[edit]

Hiya, I just wanted to stop by and briefly chat with you, as you seem to be bit stressed lately. Have you considered taking a short breather? Sometimes people or events here on Wikipedia can stress quite much - a couple of months ago I was really bad under the weather (stress and temper wise) and my edits were less than civil until I decided to quit (I thought I was gone for good back then, it was that much stress) but a couple of days later I came back; that break really refreshed me. So, I'll offer you a bit of advice: If you feel stressed, take a breather before you are pushed too far. A couple of hours break can really make the difference. Don't let the stress get to ya! Best wishes. CharonX/talk 02:22, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

And thank you for your interest in my page, sorry I could not reply your comment soon. Anyway, checkout my current user page and its conflict's talk [1] and also on my personal talk page. And please try to defend if you can, with your comments.

And also , as you said I am stressed. Actually I am oppressed. Oppressed by the bias of wikipedia just because most of wikipedians come from the biggest hypocrite country of the world. VirtualEye 05:15, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please take a breather and calm down a bit. Most editors (and almost all admins) are pretty decent and well behaved people. There is a bit of systemic bias, true, but I feel we are compensating it well enough. They are not out to get you or to oppress you. If one becomes to emotionally attached to some issue he tends to see things black and white only - not everbody who disagrees with you on a topic is against you. Just cool your temper a bit and clear that stress and you will most likely see the whole issue with new eyes. Allow yourself a short break, half a week maybe? You'll feel better for it. My last RfA/me[edit]

Hi Charon! You opposed my last RfA in late November 2006. There were opposes citing civility and inexperience with policy. It's about 3 months after that, and I think I've gained more experiance in policy and more emotional stability on-wiki. Recently I've been doing a bit of Wikipedia:WikiProject Spam stuff, though this last week I haven't had a great deal of time. Anyway, I was considering an RfA in a month or two, and I wanted to ask a few people if they had any recommendations as to what I should to or criticisms over the last few months. Thanks for reading! You're Right[edit]

I suppose I phrased that improperly, I went back and clarified a bit about the greater issue at hand. ^demon[omg plz] 17:06, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Jacktitle.gif)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Jacktitle.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. This is an automated message from BJBot 12:18, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I went to check and saw that the article it was used in replaced it with another (better) image. So'll just go db-self it. CharonX/talk 16:58, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wal-mart userbox[edit]

I put the This user does not shop at Wal-mart template into your userbox archive per your request at TfD. I had no idea where to put it so I plopped it at the top. :) --WoohookittyWoohoo! 07:47, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks mate. I moved it into a cozy location. Best wishes CharonX/talk 17:20, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia: Userbox Migration[edit]

Well, now that someone explained that to me I sort of get the jist of it. So by NPOV policies what do you mean? And is there a index of every single Userbox? The reason I did not like boxes being moved is because novice users can just put {{User something-or-another}} if they wanted to find a userbox. I mean, how would someone who wants my {{User:UBX/Catholic}} box on their userpage find it from my subdirectory? They might just go off and create their own userbox.

Also, thank you for posting your comment in the right part of my talk page, people are finally getting used to it.

W/e I'll ttu more about it soon. -23PatPeter* 01:49, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The centralized archive part was one of the objection points the "no userboxes" faction had, as it would seem in their eyes like an "official endorsement" - at least that's what we understood the issue with that was. There are in fact two "indexes" - one still located at the old location for userboxes WP:UBX, the gallery subsection and one at Navbox originated from various project members. Also I disapprove of the "type-n-try" method of finding userboxes - sometimes you will get something you want, most of the time you will end up with nothing or something entirely different... I saw the way you separated you userpage into sections and just tried to respond in the right one; my talkpage just uses the plain old "newest post at the bottom of the heap" order style :) Best wishes! CharonX/talk 03:11, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hey I found this article Wikipedia:Simple userbox solution what is your take on it?
And what are NPOV policies?
And do you have liks to the conversations that took place over the userboxes? I am curious to see them.
-PatPeter 23:16, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I know about this "solution" - unfortunately it just proposes to maintain the status quo before the WP:GUS compromise was found. If you want a nice example of 'things that happened' before the compromise was reached, I reccomend you check out its talk page, the "Some food for your thoughts" section by yours truely. I definitly don't want to go back to those times, which would be a likely result of the compromise was undone. The NPOV policies can be found under WP:NPOV, as for the heated debates and activities which happened see the "Some food for your thoughts" section or actually any of the failed userbox policy poposals (like WP:UPP or the strawpolls at WP:MACK) CharonX/talk 00:36, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Userbox Miscellany Deletion[edit]

Regarding your comments on the Userbox deletion page, I just wanted to say that I agree that it's completely ridiculous that there is such controversy over silly userboxes. It became evident, however, that those who opposed the UB were not going to budge on bit, so for the good of the project and for civility's sake, I proposed it for deletion. However, there is something off about a Userbox that is not controversial enough to be deleted here, but may be controversial enough to cost someone his RfA. Your thoughts? Kntrabssi 08:32, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I think it would be wrong to delete the box as a kind of appeasement for some members. The compromise held so far pretty well and is backed by major parts of the community, among them old former hard-core userbox opponents. The issue that arose at the RFA are, in my eyes, silly, but it is their right to oppose or support on whatever grounds they like (as it is anyones right to comment on oppose and support !votes). If somebody with a dog would participate in an election and some state they cannot support him because he has that certain dog (though dogs in general were deemed legal to be kept if e.g. on a leash etc., due to the "dog compromise") I would fail to see how the logical conclusion would be proposing to shoot the dog. (feel free to replace "Dog" with "Pet rock"/"Cinderblock yard art" CharonX/talk 16:36, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me :-) Kntrabssi 04:31, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My RfA[edit]

Thank you for support in my unsuccessful RfA. I appreciate the support, and am disappointed on being judged by what in most opinions seem to be the wrong things. Until next time, edit on! :) — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 03:52, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Watchlist[edit]

Please also keep an eye out at Wikipedia:Youth protection, which is basically the same page and has basically the same edit war going on. >Radiant< 15:38, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gladly will do, Radiant. CharonX/talk 16:32, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's ok, I kind of figured that you might have just forgotten to revert. Just concentrate on acing those exams now! -Royalguard11(Talk·Review Me!) 02:21, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pokeman image deletion review[edit]

You recently voted on a templates for deletion discussion on Template:PokeImageNR and several other templates. The result was for deletion. The matter is now before deletion review. Please comment if you would like, one way or the other. The users of the Pokeman Wikiproject believe that their case was not fully heard the first time the matter was up for deletion. So please review the situation if you would like. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 21:47, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The IP adress above is NOT an open proxy - it is simply a dyamic IP adress in the adress space of the German Telekom. They are usually allocated for at most 24h (shorter if a user disconnects and reconnects). Feel free to check the WHOIS etc. *sigh* CharonX/talk 16:05, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
