Alert

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

A community discussion has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The specific details of these sanctions are described here.

Broadly, general sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

United Kingdom

It says 205 do not change to 135. That figure is outdated, 205 is the current number on arcgis which is accepted as reliable. Valoem talk contrib 22:56, 3 April 2020 (UTC)

I don't know where you get the data, but there is no data for the recoveries on the website of the UK government "Total UK cases COVID-19 Cases Update". The data for confirmed cases as well as deaths also don't match your sources. I believe we should stick to the official source. Chbe113 (talk) 11:38, 4 April 2020 (UTC)
Also, if your data is from JHU, which includes the BOTs and CDs, it doesn't match the consensus to exclude them from the UK data anyway. Chbe113 (talk) 11:52, 4 April 2020 (UTC)

An article you recently created, Sobre el amor y sus efectos secundarios, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. @Crystallizedcarbon: Thank you for your advices! I was previously trying to translate this page from the Spanish one, however, which I now find that there is not a single reference on that page. So what do you suggest me doing on this? Thanks! Chbe113 (talk) 18:58, 4 April 2020 (UTC)
You can search on google "Sobre el amor y sus efectos secundarios" and then go to news. There are some reliable sources that you can use as references there. Do you know how to add references? --Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 19:14, 4 April 2020 (UTC)
@Crystallizedcarbon: I have already done that in both English and Spanish, but sadly I wasn't able to find any news. I have only found this one, and I could add it as a reference if you think it is reliable. "Morat Sobre el Amor y Sus Efectos Secundarios". Chbe113 (talk) 19:22, 4 April 2020 (UTC)
You can also use this one to mention the 4 platinum records and a Latin Grammy award nomination for "Cómo te atreves" and Gold record for "Cuánto me duele". --Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 20:05, 4 April 2020 (UTC)

Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the article will look like without actually saving it.

The "show preview" button is right next to the "publish changes" button and below the edit summary field.

It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Victão Lopes Fala! 20:48, 14 April 2020 (UTC)

@Victor Lopes: Thanks for the heads-up! I have, in fact, clicked preview every time before saving. The clogging-up of recent changes is mostly because I don't have all the things in my hand in the first place so I have to add one at a time whenever I find new things to add to the page. I am sorry if this causes any inconvenience. Chbe113 (talk) 21:11, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
In that case, you should keep using your personal sandbox until the content is ready to be added all at once. When you save multiple edits in a row in the same article, you make it difficult for other editors to check the history and see how the article evolved, as well as when certain pieces of information were added. Cheers, Victão Lopes Fala! 02:36, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
@Victor Lopes: Thanks! I have just discovered the sandbox option. I am using it right now. Chbe113 (talk) 08:45, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
