1. I meant something like cultural center for the "diffusion" of the culture to the public. A bad translate from the spanish wikipedia.

2. I used the translator for this one but you don´t have a term for this in the english wikipedia. In spanish this is an albergue and in french that is a auberge de jeunesse. Something like a cheap hostel for yount people.

I don't really know. Maybe is techniques the word. That is just about his work process (not being artistic or creative). Countershading image

I've just made 6 diagrams of the clap and fling flight of the thrips as discovered by Torkel Weis-Fogh. I have a powerpoint file of all of them – if you'd like it, just ask ... I would like a way to edit .SVG files easily, doing it with Inkscape is possible but absolutely horrible; and I don't see an obvious way to get from .PPT to .SVG, which seems extraordinary for something so simple. @Chiswick Chap: Unfortunately I'm not sure about automated conversions. I personally do all by SVGs by hand (ensures the best quality and smaller file sizes), but I think it should be simple to convert a PDF to SVG. I'm not sure what I would do with a PowerPoint file (except maybe run it through a PDF converter), is it possible to export a PowerPoint file as PDF from PowerPoint (program)? Operation Uranus conversions ... went wrong ...

Hi, I made 2 images, as before, File:Operation Uranus Deception Actual Soviet Dispositions 18 Nov 1942.png and File:Operation Uranus Deception German View 18 Nov 1942.png, and they're in use now. I tried to make the matching .SVG images via PDF and thought I'd succeeded, but the image components seem to have unglued themselves so the images are unusable. (Glum face). We can get them deleted, or better, you might like to overwrite them. They're File:Operation Uranus Deception Actual Soviet Dispositions 18 Nov 1942.svg and File:Operation Uranus Deception German View 18 Nov 1942.svg. Typos in File:Wasps are Paraphyletic.svg

There were five total typos in File:Wasps are Paraphyletic.svg, one that Chiswick Chap spotted and four that I did, including a glaring one "Jew Wasps" instead of "Jewel Wasps". When vectorizing scientific images, or really any that include potentially unfamiliar terminology, it is important to be careful when transcribing text. We have to rely on editors in good standing doing a lot of checking of their own work because we can't review every change in detail. Please double check these sort of things in the future. @Lehayim: Singular they has been around at least since Shakespeare (and I've been using it my whole life). Still, people do often seem uncomfortable with it for some reason. If it makes you feel better, he or she is also acceptable. (Though going round changing all theys to he or shes is crusading if you don't find consensus first). Warning vandals

Hello. Regarding the anti-vandal work you've been doing: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate. They can also be used to give stronger warnings to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Furthermore, users can be far quickly and easily reported to WP:AIV, and make administrator's work in blocking them much simpler, as they can clearly see disregarded warnings relating to recent edits. @Ponyo: Thank you for reviewing my review. However, the reviewing criteria at Wikipedia:Reviewing_pending_changes do not require the edit to be cited. In fact, this section explicitly states that the edits do not need to comply with verifiability. The protection level is intended to prevent vandalism, not false or unsourced edits. Of course, it is also intended to ensure that the BLP policy is upheld. In regard to this specific edit (and this is presumably where I am ignorant of something), there doesn't seem to be anything libellous / attacking about it. If it is indeed false then it should be corrected in the usual manner (as you already have done). Regardless, thanks again for your vigilance! –♫CheChe♫ talk 19:21, 17 November 2017 (UTC)

CheChe, I am very aware of the requirement for approving or disallowing pending changes. Edits that add unsourced personal information to articles are contrary to BLP (in this specific case, WP:DOB) and should not be accepted; this is the first point of of the General Criteria of the reviewing process ("you should not accept the new revision if in analyzing the diff you find...It conflicts with the biographies of living persons policy"). Content does not need to be libelous to be contested, per policy "We must get the article right. Be very firm about the use of high-quality sources. All quotations and any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be supported by an inline citation to a reliable, published source. Contentious material about living persons (or, in some cases, recently deceased) that is unsourced or poorly sourced—whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable—should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion". The reviewing criteria also states "reviewers should take special consideration of the reason given for protection, and attempt to uphold it.". I protected the article to prevent the "Addition of unsourced or poorly sourced content: + persistent addition of unsourced personal info in a BLP", so any edits that introduce such material should not be accepted. When admins set pending changes on BLPs specifically to prevent the addition of unsourced content, it is very important that Reviewers abide by the requirement for reliable sourcing. --Jezebel's Ponyo^{bons mots} 19:38, 17 November 2017 (UTC)
