DYK nomination[edit]

Hi... After discussion with user MichChemGSI, I have nominated the article isolobal principle for the DYK project. If the nomination is successful, the article will appear on the main page. The nomination can be seen at Template talk:Did you know#Isolobal principle. You are welcome to comment or respond to the comments of others, should you wish. For your information, I think the nomination has a good chance but there are a few areas the article could be improved, including:

  • making the references consistently formatted
  • make sure that there is at least one reference (inline citation) in every paragraph

Thanks for your contribution to Wikipedia... I hope you decide to register a stand-alone account and continue to contribute. Regards, EdChem (talk) 11:58, 22 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Isolobal principle[edit]

Thanks ... could you spare some time to get the QYK queues packed with hooks? Victuallers (talk) 12:03, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What does QYK stand for? Thanks! MichChemGSI (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 15:18, 23 December 2010 (UTC).[reply]

Hi MichChemGSI... first, QYK is a typo, it should be DYK... second, the request is about preparing new updates, and should only be directed to more experienced DYK contributors – you and the students don't have the experience for a task like populating the DYK queues and prep areas with hooks, so my suggestion is that you disregard this request. oh! ok, no problem. I wasn't sure since it was written on their talk page. These students also seem to be on vacation and sadly not responding to emails at the moment, so i thought i'd follow up with things that needed to be done. Thanks for clarifying! again, i can't express how thankful and how much I appreciate all of your help! MichChemGSI (talk) 18:36, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
