US pop[edit]

Something's wrong with the poptoday template. I reduced both the base pop and the increment & the poptoday value increased to 311,940,000! You entered a base that would have been high even for Jan 11 & got a lower "poptoday". According to my spreadsheet, the numbers are clicking right along with the uscensus pop clock & I do not get 311,940,000 until 11 days from now --JimWae (talk) 01:51, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OK, now US poptoday is giving a correct round-off to 311,880,000 --- there must have been some caching problem--JimWae (talk) 02:07, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

it must have been using the 311,874,973 figure you entered - which would have been high even for Jan 11 - much less for Jan 1--JimWae (talk) 02:11, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
