FAC[edit]

When nominating an article for Featured Article, please remember to add a tag to the talk page of the article. I have done this for you at Mahabharata. Further instructions can be found on the WP:FAC page. Thanks. Jeffpw 11:58, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Dilbert Survey of Economists, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://dilbert.com/blog/entry/dilbert_survey_of_economists. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Proposed deletion of Dilbert Survey of Economists[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Dilbert Survey of Economists, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Atheism in Hinduism[edit]

It is an established practice we start conversations at the bottom of the talk pages. I have responded to your query. thanks. --Docku: What's up? 17:35, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your new article[edit]

Hi. A Google search shows you pasted it from another wiki, which is OK. However, please don't remove cleanup notices. They are there to alert other editors that the article needs help. It is totally incomprehensible to a non-technical audience at present. PMDrive1061 (talk) 03:27, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • No problem.  :) Thanks for letting me know. Best, --PMDrive1061 (talk) 18:17, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I had to do some considerable paring to this article. Remember anything you add to the article needs to be properly sourceeed. In this article I removed everything that I wasn't able to source. If you are able to find reliable sources as applies to wp:rs please feel fre to readd those details. Welcome to Wiki. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 14:48, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Great I'm glad you got my message. I couldn't find anything under those sources. Since you seem to know about them I suggest that you readd them. Unfortunately due to our policies they have to and will be removed until we can reliably prove where we got our info. This helps gain credit for our efforts. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 15:03, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If you want to create a Category page for embedded options that would make your list more feasible. Unfortunately though just having a list of links to embedded options actually takes away from the options. If they have their own wiki page allready we don't need duplicates. Am I understanding what you are trying to achieve? Hell In A Bucket (talk) 15:09, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I reformatted your addition. I left the list of bond types however as they have their own page I linked them there instead of having duplicate info on the site. It uses your refs you found and thank you for them. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 15:28, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Requirements of IFRS has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Ambiguously referenced, overly detailed, and how-to-ish; overall not encyclopedic content

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. BDD (talk) 20:08, 14 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Requirements of IFRS for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Requirements of IFRS is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Requirements of IFRS until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. BDD (talk) 18:23, 18 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. WikiProject Investment[edit]

Hey there! I just re-launched the WikiProject Investment.

The site has been fully revamped and updated and I would like to invite you the project.

Feel free to check out the project and ping me if you have any questions.

I'd like to invite you to join the Investment WikiProject. There are a lot of Investment related articles on Wikipedia that could use a little attention, and I hope this project can help organize an effort to improve them. So please, take a look and if you like what you see, help get this project off the ground and a few Investment pages into the front ranks of Wikipedia articles. Thanks!

Cheers! WikiEditCrunch (talk) 19:09, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
