LynnS79, just for my files and reference I am trying to locate the post you made the other day which called for deleting the cli fi page entirely if we all could not agree to rename the page as climate ficiton with an ultimatum of one week. That post is my my other files but I am sure i saw it here and want to know what day you made that post and where the post is now. water under the bridge, but just want to refernce in case mods give me an opportunity rename the page back to cli-fi since ultimatums and threats should not happen at Wiki and among Wpedians. Can you cite the day and date you made that remark? Thanks. (Chiayi77 (talk) 10:59, 23 March 2015 (UTC)).[reply]

Requesting changes[edit]

Dear NewsandEventsGuy in 2017, after three years, regarding A special case is outing, that is, revealing information about another editor that they have not revealed themselves and probably do not want known, such as their name (if not revealed by the editor in question).." If an editor has information later on that reveals that one person was using two different Wiki Pseudonyms as Wiki IDs and using one ID on Talk Wiki to insist that he/him/her/they were NOT the same person and saying one thing via one ID and a completely different thing on the other day and therefore in so doing actually lying about their motives for conducting an editing campaign that lasted six months, and the two IDs in fact belong to the same person, should that be reported or just ignored? I do not intend to out anyone. My hope is that this person who I will not name will out themselves. But how to pursue this? I have no quarrels with the editing now. But I have recently discovered who that the two IDs, both pseudonyms but easily traced once one puts two and two together belong to the same editor, and she always insisted on WikiTalk that she did not know the other editor and had no connection with that other person, when in fact, as I have now learned, there were the same person. How does one fix this so that people do not use two different pseudonym IDS to pretend that they are not related to the same person pushing an exact similar agenda? RSVP. thanks, Chiayi 77 in 2017. Hi Chiayi77, when you want to request changes to an article, please do so on the talk page rather than in the article itself. Thanks! -- haminoon (talk) 03:25, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, will do in future. In fact, Haminoon, I did post requset for changes at a talk page but nobody lifted a finger. So I posted there. Sorry. THanks for fixing it(Chiayi77 (talk) 03:52, 28 March 2015 (UTC)).[reply]
You did it again just after you posted this. Its verging on vandalism that can get you blocked from Wikipedia. Just be patient with talk page suggestions - someone will get to them eventually. -- haminoon (talk) 04:40, 28 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I will be more careful, Haminoon. I have had MY origionalo wiki page wikijacked by an anti cli fi professor and i know her name now and which groups she works with to try to take down the cli fi work i am doing, and she is allowed to post her crap here? Its unethical. SHe is affailted with a major anit cli fi website and she preotensd she has no agenda and is neatuerla. my eye, she is NOT neurtal at all. She unethically foreced my title to be chagned to anotehr title desterpuiong 3 year sof work 24/ 7 ehre. how would you feel? no one has come to my denfese NOT ONE Wpedian? SHEESH. that said, yes, i will follow the rules i just wanted you and other to see the exampke of cli fi disabvmuition idea. can we do?(Chiayi77 (talk) 04:45, 28 March 2015 (UTC)).[reply]
Haminoon, i have spokent with David Goodman and Mathew Dann and they did nothing. The woman wiwkijacked my page, has not been upfront about her agenda and coonection with the Eco Fciton weviste which used to be called CLI FI BOOKS see? the women who runs is my friend but we had a difference of POV and now she hates the cli fi term and even censores if trom her website. if a poerson in an interiew says he is writing a cli fi book as QUOTE she changes his quote to I am writing a climate fiction book. That is facsst censtorhsop. and LYNN goes along with this and is good fire9odsnw tih mary they bohj live in BC in Canadda and are deep greens. I am deep green too. they should bne on mhy side. i am on their side. but for reaons i cannot udnerswand, they are attacking CLI FI my lif's work. and nobodyu is rsiing here to defend me. How you like if someone hihacked yr page through deceit and unethical psots and got the titeld changed?

But thanks for telling me abotu vandalism. I didn;t know. i will stop that. DAN (Chiayi77 (talk) 04:50, 28 March 2015 (UTC)).[reply]

Hello David, quick wiki question, remember the cli-fi climate fiction brouhaha in 2015 when someone name ..... LynnS79 ....tried to get the title of the page changed from cli fi to climate fiction and succeeded. and all is well now, water under the bridge, life goes on, and the page is better for it now. I love what eventually happened. But my Q is where is LynnS78 now, her useris seems to have been deleted from WIKI TALK and funny, she never edited anything at WIKI before the cli fi brouhaha, and then after it was over she LEFT and never posted again after she went on vacation for a week in April 2015. Disappeared. and she has never written anything anywhere about cli fi. Can you tell me this? can a person delete their footprint from Wiki Talk just like that? I have a feeling who she really is, in fact, I know who she is, but I don't want to get into this again. SMILE. I just want to know how can someone join WIKI TALK and then make trouble and then disappear without a trace, is that kosher? Cheers, DAN BLOOM in Taiwan and still hard at work with cli-fi meme. DO RSVP my Wiki Talk ID is Chiayi77 DAN (Chiayi77DAN (Chiayi77 (talk) 04:50, 28 March 2015 (UTC)).[reply]

Edit war warning[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Climate fiction. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount and can lead to a block, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection.
