If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Chi Chi Lambda, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. A tag has been placed on Chi Chi Lambda requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Information icon Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Chi Chi Lambda. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Hi, let me help![edit]

You've been getting a lot of templates and "Speedy Deletion" notices. I'd like to actually provide some real help.

I have copied the content of the page to User:Chichilambda/Chi Chi Lambda. That is a page which should not be deleted unless you specifically request it to be.

I understand that one of the challenges of creating a new page can be that editors come along and slap tags that say "It's not notable," and then rather than actually solving the problem, you need to go off and spend time dealing with another notification. And when the notifications start piling up, it can really get to be an overwhelming process. One way to get around that is to userfy the page, or to put it into your userspace. This is what I have done with User:Chichilambda/Chi Chi Lambda.

This can give you some time to breathe and to flesh out the article a bit before going back and having to deal with the tags and notices. Then when you go back to deal with them, you can have something of a good quality to present.

I would also advise you to check out the New Page Incubator. This and many other things can be found at Wikipedia:Your first article.

If you have any more questions, please just send me a message on my talk page! Thanks, and welcome to Wikipedia! Jm (talk | contribs) 04:07, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you.
