Hello, Chickenhuntera. I was reading your submission,Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Rosebery Festival. It sounds like a great community event. I would like to make a couple of suggestion of things that you can do to improve it while you are waiting for a review.

Firstly, there are a several paragraphs in which you have a long list of citation numbers at the end of the paragraph. This is overkill; you should just keep whichever two or three are the most independent and have the best information about that particular item in the article. As long as you have at least one citation to a particular reference, it will still show up on your list in the reference section.

Secondly, it's not necessary (or even particularly legal for copyright reasons) to copy the text of a reference article into the reference. Your references are pretty well all on line, so those wanting to read what the references say can just click on the links. Usually the URL, a title, the author's name if available, the name of the publication and date should be enough.

I hope this helps, and good luck with your submission. It's sometime difficult for articles about festivals in small towns to pass Wikipedia's notability requirements unless they have been covered extensively by media from outside of the local area (see WP:GNG). —Anne Delong (talk) 12:03, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
