October 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm 4thfile4thrank. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Chinatown, London have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. 4thfile4thrank (talk) 20:09, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Han Chinese. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. 4thfile4thrank (talk) 20:12, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:Coronavirus disease 2019, you may be blocked from editing. Peaceray (talk) 20:14, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link, as you did at coronavirus. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Stop icon This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Chinatown, London, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Peaceray (talk) 20:17, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Automatic Chinese Detector, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
