Thanks Noble Eagle, for your welcome message. I'm just removing it since it's been screwing up the font and colors on this page. Your message is still appreciated, thanks ! Chocolate Horlicks (talk) 14:28, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

PAX Images[edit]

Hello. I deleted your images from Killzone 3 and Medal of Honor (2010 video game) as they added nothing to the articles, they were simply "here is a picture of people playing the game at PAX". Maybe if the game being at PAX was notable for some reason (think Duke Nukem Forever), which was covered in the prose, they might be useful, but otherwise, no. Thanks! Yeah, a pre-release section or something could work alright! Thanks! Fin© 13:24, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

India must shown in Yellow - File:Battlefields in The Global War on Terror - edit01.PNG[edit]

Hi Dear - India has also been suffering - pl update the map to show India as yellow. While Kashmir section is disputed with Pakistan(better known as factory of terrorists against India and US) so please show it accordingly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.68.32.34 (talk) 09:09, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your response.
1. I agree with your point that POK should be shown as disputed territory, but unfortunately, this is the standard template map thats being used in Wikipedia. If I recollect corectly, I am afraid this point was brought up previously and a decision was made to stick to this map. Unfortunately, I dont have the time to restart that debate - I welcome you to join Wikipedia and pursue this further. But please note that in that case, even J&K will have to be shown as disputed territory.
2. There were discussions on the talk page as to how to cover other countries. I have edited the image slightly, and clarified that the map excludes countries like Russia and India which have been subject to Islamic terrorist attacks and have independent ongoing anti-terror operations. Revised map and description can now be found on the War on Terror page.

West Bengal state assembly election, 2011[edit]

[1] the first section title was a little off, the 2nd was better but instead of a long winded title i cahnged to the consistent election article post-reaction of "analysis" Most of the content was then merged into that section. i just cleaned such obious statement as "sharp decline of seats from holding 233 out of the 294 seats to merely 32 seats" which dont need mention. But what do you think should be added?Lihaas (talk) 15:24, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

agreed. im just waiting for the 7 more seats to be confirmed [2]Lihaas (talk) 15:37, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages German and Hyderabad (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Recent move of 2012 Indian fishermen killings[edit]

Sir,

I think the new title is an improvemet. Perhaps we (and other interested editors) should discuss and arrive at a consensus on a title. Please also refer to some foreign sources (neutral sources, Indian sources and Italian ones). I dont think Wikipedia currently have a page regarding any Italian naval activity in Arabian sea.

ITN[edit]

I made a change to the blurb for the 2012 BRICS summit ITN nomination. Perhaps now the blurb is ready to be put on the Main Page? The summit is over, and the news can become stale soon. ~*~AnkitBhatt~*~ 16:20, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In The News/Recurring Items[edit]

I am posting here to ask for editors to look at Wikipedia:In_the_news/Recurring_items and to comment at the talk page to discuss/vote on an amendment to the ITN/R list. I am posting this message on a number of editor's talk pages to encourage debate.

In connection to an ongoing debate on which items can appear on the front page under "In The News", "Recurring Items" are nominated events which require very little debate in the nomination process.

I propose the following amendment to the current ITN/R list. In addition I will put this on the talk page of as many editors as I can find who are contributors to ITN/C

At Wikipedia:In_the_news/Recurring_items, I propose the following amendment to section 3:

  • At line 5, delete "and", and add after "territories" the words "and the world's twenty smallest nations".

Section 3, Line 5 would then read:

  • Disputed states, dependent territories and the world's twenty smallest nations should be discussed at WP:ITN/C and judged on their own merits.

I look forward to the debate doktorb wordsdeeds 07:24, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

ITNR for elections[edit]

As someone who regularly contributes to election articles: Due to recurrent discussions that lead nowhere, an open-ended discussion and proposals are invited Wikipedia talk:In the news/Recurring items/Elections for ITN on the main page as to what should be recurrent without ITNC discussionsLihaas (talk) 07:24, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
