Speedy deletion of Bogdon Box Bass[edit]

A tag has been placed on Bogdon Box Bass requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. A new name 2008 (talk) 19:51, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bogdon Box Bass[edit]

I've added some links to the article because, from a google search, it appears noteworthy. Remember, when creating an article on Wikipedia, it needs to be correctly sourced so notability can be established. A single line is not sufficient and would be quickly deleted.SilverserenC 20:00, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm glad you know the actual supplies for it. I believe the article is safe now. Have fun. :) SilverserenC 20:17, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good to hear from ya[edit]

I was wondering if I would hear back from you. ;P

You'll find that the longer you work with Wikipedia, the easier everything becomes. It took me a while to figure things out as well and you basically gave yourself a crash-course with that article.

Just for you to note, whenever you reply to someone on their talk page, you put your new section on the bottom. Also you can create a header by placing double equals (=) signs on both sides of whatever you want your title to be. That just further separates sections and prevents the page from becoming gobbledygook.

If you have any questions or need any help, feel free to let me know. For now, i'm largely only on during the weekends, but I will be on over Christmas break as well.

For my momentary advice, I think you should make a user page. It makes you seem a lot more friendly and you can put some information on there about you (as much as you feel comfortable with). It will also stop most people from immediately thinking you're a vandal or something.

I hope to be working with you again, SilverserenC 16:48, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

December 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Bogdon Box Bass has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: 'geocities\.com' (link(s): http://www.geocities.com/washtubbass/Bogdongreenshirt.jpg) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image or a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks!
