Adding non-notable names[edit]

Texas Railroad Commission members[edit]

You may want to stop creating these articles. I will be nominating all of them for deletion under our WP:AFD process today. I don't know what the outcome will be, but I think there is a reasonable chance that they will be deleted; as such, you may not want to devote additional energy to creating more similar articles until the outcome. Update (I shouldn't be editing this early maybe) I've retracting my notability doubts on all three articles. It initially appeared as serving on the TRC was the primary notability claim, which would probably not meet WP:BIO; however, two of the individuals served in Texas state politics, and the third was chancellor of a large university system, all of which meet WP:BIO criteria in one way or another. Nomination of Barry Smitherman for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Barry Smitherman is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Barry Smitherman until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
