Hi Christine, thank you for your note – much appreciated and glad to be of help. Sorry the article took so long to come through, I found myself reading round the subject too. I took the opportunity to improve Robert Forman Horton a little while I was about it, but I think there is plenty more to say about him – if you look at his publications list he was clearly a very important figure of the time on both sides of the Atlantic. Lyndhurst Hall is a fascinating piece of social history and this was a very well researched article, so I look forward to reading future contributions from you. Thanks again.
