You have a response. If it happens again, make a note of exactly what happens and what device, browser and operating system you are using and ask at WP:VPT.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 20:37, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Tyler Skaggs

[edit]

Thank you for the barnstar! We'll see if the edit sticks. I would recommend explaining the reasoning of your edit in the wp:ES. Maybe something like "aspirating on your x" is incorrect grammar. removed "on" Wozal might have been tired or just misunderstood. Your talk on Wozal's page might have been too brief, pushed a button, too tired... Everybody's unique. Check out WP:AUTIST. Likely one of the reasons Wikipedia is successful.
The grammatical error on Tyler Skaggs should have been easily corrected. If it takes "too" much time to remedy, remember that there are probably thousands upon thousands of other problems out there. This essay is often mentioned on editors who won't give up their point of view: wp:drop the stick I'm not implying this applies to you BTW! Lots of interesting essays listed at the bottom. I probably should drop the stick and sign my name. Cheers Adakiko (talk) 11:55, 17 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah you're right, I was too brief. I assumed it would be obvious to everyone when shown side by side, but I guess not. I'll be more thorough next time. Personally, if someone corrects my writing I go do some kind of research to verify, but I guess not everyone does that, oh well, ha ha. Citizen127 (talk) 23:51, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
