You're welcome

[edit]

For the welcome, and the articles suggested. :) I saw your username on on of the administrators noticeboards where you had participated, noticed that no one had welcomed you, and did it myself. :) I am glad you plan to contribute and learn about here more. Good luck! Acalamari 17:08, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of text

[edit]

Please do not delete discussions on wikipedia talk pages, or remove the contributions of other editors, as you did in this edit to Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents (see WP:TPG). Thanks. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 18:27, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unblocked

[edit]

First, let me apologize for the block: I was too fast to conclude that you are Robert Young. I will unblock you.

However, please proceed very carefully. Wikipedia is currently a target of Young's campaign of disruption, and he apparently recruits his off-wiki friends through the website and e-mail for voting against deletion on the articles he wrote. I'm sorry, but you de facto were part of this campaign, very likely unconsciously. We hate canvassing of any kind, i.e. attempts to sway community opinion, and seldom make deep differences between "sockpuppets" and "meatuppets". One does not often see so many new editors, or editors whose sole AfD in their carreer it was, as in Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Marie-Rose_Mueller.

See also: User talk:StanPrimmer, the user who was in identical situation as you, and the running thread at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#A newbie casualty of this war. Duja 08:05, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
