Another person's words on notability[edit]

C - From an experienced editor, to a person trying to create a company article: "Wikipedia has basically no interest in what a company says about itself, whether in its own publications, or in interviews or press releases. On a quick look through the references in your draft, I do not see a single case where somebody wholly unconnected with the company has chosen to publish about it at some depth: all the sources which are not ________'s own are plainly based on interviews or press releases. Unless there are such independent sources, then the company does not currently meet the criteria for notability, and it will be a waste of everybody's time submitting a draft for review, no matter how it is written." Comments on Lead[edit]

My overall opinion is that trying for an article now may be WP:TOOSOON given paucity of accomplishments and being written about. Suggestions on revising the lead section:

What is there: Sano Genetics is a genetic research company that allows scientists to research personalised medicine and access dynamic health and genetic data sets, with transparency and control throughout the process.

The company has received funding from Seedcamp[1] and grant funding from Cambridge University Entrepreneurs, the Wellcome Genome Campus BioData Innovation Centre, the Judge Business School's Accelerate Cambridge programme[2] and the Y Combinator Startup School.[3]

Sano Genetics's current studies include research into psoriasis, muscular dystrophy, and Phelan McDermid Syndrome.

What I recommend (because naming funding does not convey notability):

Sano Genetics is a genetic research company with a focus on personalised medicine and ability to access dynamic health and genetic data sets. Current studies include research into psoriasis, muscular dystrophy, and Phelan McDermid Syndrome.
