P. hoffmannseggii in the pet trade[edit]

Dear Clarkus, Congratulations for you first article! Do you perhaps have any sources for the "In the pet trade" section of that article? Felix QW (talk) 20:42, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It is difficult to find academic sources on the pet trade components; there is a lot of activity on various stores but not many formal studies on the pet trade specifically. I am looking at a few articles that represent the best we currently have; there are groups and vendors with a good reputation within the hobby that have some articles and blog posts that are possibly an alternative. Clarkus22 (talk) 20:54, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I realise that finding reliable sources for some hobbies can be difficult; before I flagged the section, I tried to verify the information using Google, but didn't get anywhere, even though plenty of vendor sites are selling these animals and also stating much the same claims. Is there maybe a good old-fashioned pet hobbyist's magazine that could have run articles on this sort of topic? Felix QW (talk) 21:28, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The magazine is a good idea, I'll dig around Clarkus22 (talk) 22:02, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
