[edit]Hi there. Wikipedia is not the place to publicise your organisation. You claim it "has been referenced and supported by local newspapers, educational, and governmental institutions", but it gets only four hits on Google, two of which are Wikipedia. I therefore am very very doubtful about its importance/significance.
The way that you write suggests that you are involved with the organisation. I suggest you read WP:COI and strongly discourage you from continuing to edit on the subject. Thanks, пﮟოьεԻ 57 15:45, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but I won't be undeleting the article. The organisation is clearly not notable, and Wikipedia is not the place to inform the public of your activities. Even with the old name, you still only get 13 hits, and Google does not have a problem with the slash. WP:NOTABILITY states that the sunject must have had "significant coverage", something which it does not have. Regards, пﮟოьεԻ 57 20:26, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- I apologise if you think I have acted harshly, and of course I welcome any new contributors to Wikipedia. However, it is also very important to understand what Wikipedia is and what it isn't. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when.
