Re:RFC on Luisosio's conduct

I'm not sure why I was informed of this RFC; to my knowledge I've never had dealings with the editor in question, nor have I edited the articles mentioned in the RFC (unless it was a vandalism-type reversion). Additionally, I don't really have any experience in RFC so I'm not sure how I can help. Precious Roy 13:02, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

Guess I should've checked further before writing. I now see that I reverted an edit of his while I was patrolling recent changes. I made a judgement call in that case based on what I saw happening; I still feel, however, unqualified to comment in the RFC. Precious Roy 13:05, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

RFC

Thanks for starting the RFC. I've never been involved in one before. Should I do something besides just signing my name? Basically the only thing I'd say that you didn't is that Luisoso seems to learn Wikipedia jargon but doesn't learn the Wiki principles (like accusing people of vandalism or violating NPOV all the time). So if nobody else comments on the RfC, is that sort of the end of it?Katsam 07:34, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Statross le Magnifique

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Statross le Magnifique, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of the page. B. Statross le Magnifique

Hi, Cleduc! Yes, I did look at the picture - lasciviously, even! However, if a film is LGBT-related, it really should be stated somewhere in the article - otherwise we're leaving it up to WP:OR. Surely there are tons of sources for a plot summary or something that would expand the article *and* say why it's in the LGBT cat? -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 01:51, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

ROTFL! And here I am telling you "More gay!" :) BTW, have you considered joining the cabal WP:LGBT? Take a look around, and if you are, sign up :) -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 02:20, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
Wow - Liza 'and' Kathy!? You're really earning the shiny pink stars! :)
And, just to be official:

Hi, Cleduc, welcome to WikiProject LGBT Studies!

We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying, categorizing, and improving articles of interest to the LGBT community. Some points that may be helpful:

  • Our main aim is to help improve LGBT-related articles, so if someone asks for help with an article, please try your hardest to help them if you are able.
  • Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
  • The project has several ongoing and developing activities, such as article quality assessment, peer review and a project-wide article collaboration, all of which you are welcome to take part in. We also have a unique program to improve our lower quality articles, Jumpaclass, so please consider signing up there.
  • If you have another language besides English, please consider adding yourself to our translation section, to help us improve our foreign LGBT topics.
  • If you're planning to stay, have a square in our quilt! You can put anything you want in it.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page, and we will be happy to help you.

And once again - Welcome!
