Feedback on Cambridge riot of 1963 for PS 489 Black Lives and Deaths[edit]

So I could not find any edits you had made either on the mainspace page or your sandbox so if I missed them somewhere please let me know and I'd be happy to give you specific feedback! Generally for the page, I think the biggest improvement that can be made going forward is generally content development as the page itself only contains a brief overview of what the topic is. Perhaps structuring the page as a timeline by talking about the forces at play that caused the riot, the events of the actual riot, and then the repercussions following the riot would be really helpful for individuals going to the page looking for information. Focusing on the specific events of the riot itself first would probably be best for quickly getting the most critical information out there. Please let me know if you have any questions about my feedback or want me to take a second look! Cbshier (talk) 15:47, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Peer Review[edit]

I checked the article page and your sandbox fro edits, but I could not find any. The page itself does not have much information as it stands now. Though it may seem like you have a lot to do, I think this is a good opportunity because the topic really hasn't been covered and almost any credible information you find on the topic can be included.

There is a link in the article that mentions that there was a 1967 Cambridge Riot that came after the riot in 1963. I think there is an opportunity to talk about the significance of the 1963 riot and the impact it had on the Civil Rights Movement. Who participated? What was its relationship to the 1963 March on Washington? Did Dr. King have anything to say about it? I think there is a lot of information out there that can be included in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chris Gannon 12 (talkcontribs) 18:17, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
