Welcome to Wikipedia, CoderCat! I am Mysdaao and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

{{helpme}} Is there a single page, or article, etc, that will tell me exactly how to use the mark up ? I have placed an article on my user page, but I don't know where to begin. I have seen bits of the mark up on various pages, but nothing that seems comprehensive in one place. I am totally new to this, and really want to post my article, but I'm so terribly non tech. I know that sounds very silly to all of you who know these things, but truly I just don't know. I need help, please !! Thank you so much !! I am a visual person (artist), so if I could just "see" how this is done I'm sure I could do it. Again, thank you sincerely for any help. CoderCat (talk) 18:37, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Help:Wiki markup is a pretty complete overview on a single page. Regards SoWhy 18:43, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Code d' Odalisque has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no assertion of notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ironholds (talk) 23:03, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Code d' Odalisque[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Code d' Odalisque. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Code d' Odalisque. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:13, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am new to Wikipedia and am finding it incredibly confusing. We have been trying to establish an informative and useful article on Code d' Odalisque. It has now been deleted twice. We would like some HELP PLEASE. It has been deleted because it is not deemed notable. But Code d' Odalisque has been around for over ten years and has thousands of followers worldwide. Not notable??? I am very happy to make whatever changes are necessary to establish notability, but I need some HELP please. Codercat CoderCat (talk) 06:52, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
