A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Coderowersoftware, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 10:28, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Requested username:

Request reason:

Dear Wikipedia Administrators,

I understand that my account was blocked due to issues related to advertising and a username that suggests representation of a business. I apologize for any breaches of Wikipedia's policies. I assure you that any promotional edits were unintentional, and I am committed to adhering to Wikipedia's guidelines in the future.

I am willing to change my username to one that complies with Wikipedia's policy and to ensure that all my contributions are neutral and properly sourced. I request an opportunity to rectify these issues and continue contributing to the community.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely, Ishaan Puniani

Decline reason:

This does not address your direct conflict of interest (WP:COI). Claiming that your edits were unintentionally promotional is clearly nonsense. It's also not clear that you understand Draft:The Future of Software Development: Top Trends to Watch in 2024 was completely inappropriate for an encyclopedia. Dear Wikipedia Administrators,
I understand that my account was blocked due to my direct conflict of interest and my contributions that were promotional in nature. I acknowledge that my edits, particularly the draft "The Future of Software Development: Top Trends to Watch in 2024," were not appropriate for an encyclopedia and violated Wikipedia's content guidelines.
I sincerely apologize for these actions. My intention was not to misuse Wikipedia but to share insights that I believed were valuable. I now realize that my approach was misguided and contrary to Wikipedia’s policies.
I am committed to adhering strictly to Wikipedia’s guidelines in the future. I will refrain from editing topics where I have a conflict of interest and will focus on contributing neutral, well-sourced content. Additionally, I am willing to change my username to comply with the username policy.
I kindly request an opportunity to rectify these issues and to continue contributing to Wikipedia in a manner consistent with its community standards.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Ishaan Puniani Coderowersoftware (talk) 12:44, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Draft:The Future of Software Development: Top Trends to Watch in 2024, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
