Help about wikipedia terms

{{helpme}} Are redirects of terms used on wikipedia to the their respective project pages acceptable?

Eg.,The term userbox/es is used only on wikipedia,it'll be OK if i redirect Userbox or Userboxes to Wikipedia:Userboxes?

CoercorashTalkContr. 06:04, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

You can't. As in, thanks for asking first, but if you tried, you'd find that both have been previously deleted and create-protected. You could start an WP:RfC on whether that consensus still stands, but those have been discussed extensively previously. Cheers, Jclemens (talk) 06:09, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

I've moved the image to the Wikimedia commons!

I did try to use explanatory edit summaries with my edits; if you wish to discuss the issue, please raise it on the talk page Talk:Sunni Dawat-e-Islami so that we can work towards a consensus, thanks.  Chzz  ►  01:42, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Header en.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Header en.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Sven Manguard Wha? 21:26, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Actually it's the updated version of file:DawateIslami.jpg.I accidently uploaded it without renaming.i think it should be deleted.

In that case, you can either wait a week for it to be deleted, or you can remove the current CSD and replace it with a G7 (author requests deletion) or F1 (redundant file) request. Any of the three would result in the image being deleted. Have a good day, Sven Manguard Wha? 05:30, 13 January 2011 (UTC)

Hello Coercorash. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Dnyanopasak College Of Arts, Commerce, Science, and Technology, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not unambiguously promotional. Thank you. Salvio Let's talk about it! 13:40, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

Harry Potter and the Fortress of Shadows

On 19 June 2011, you tagged Harry Potter and the Fortress of Shadows with {{rfd}}, but you did not complete the nomination by listing it at WP:RFD. Can you please complete the second step of the nomination per the instructions at the WP:RFD page? If you do not list it within a reasonable amount of time, I'll assume you no longer wish to see it deleted and will remove the template. Thanks. -- JLaTondre (talk) 13:48, 4 July 2011 (UTC)

help needed for Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab biography

Raqib nizami (talk) 21:54, 3 January 2012 (UTC)Salam,Im a Sunni Sufi Muslim,I joined new as an editor.I tried to edit the biography of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab.It was full of lies in the biggining.I tried to add some helpful ref to proof that he was not at all a great Sunni scholar and to establish that he tried to form a firqa(sect)Wahhabism. Also i tried to create an assessment tittle to reveal his real truth. now im having debate on the discussion forum. but im alone others are Wahhabi extremist.I suggested an edit request pls help me to get it right.i also need your help to guide me how to be better in this article.Raqib nizami (talk) 21:54, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

Actually most articles related to islam, especially these(related to wahabism) have been hijacked by wahabi editors. They are representing their view such that a neutral thinking persons consider it true what wahabis are saying. Almost every one on Wikipedia are supporting the wahabi view intentionally or unintentionally. If you edit something ,they say you are not neutral. But if you praise him (M ibn AW),no one asks you about the neural PoV. That's what going all over Wikipedia. You hardly find any Sunni but here is bunch of Wahhabi, and they are taking advantage of this number ratio.
