Wondering if you cared to comment

[edit]

There's an ongoing RFC regarding the inclusion of a subsection regarding the scandal produced by a sex tape involving a public figure. I'm of the opinion that some of the editors are opposed to this despite it's acceptability according to all of the Wikipedia policies and guidelines that I've seen.

I'd be interested in hearing your views. Thanks in advance. 186.45.113.90 (talk) 04:23, 11 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Meh. No offense, but it's not an area of concern to me. Conversations about sexuality are, in my opinion, mundane yet notable. Discussion of a sex tape doesn't fall into the same category. I mean, if it makes mainstream news outlets in the relevant geography, then sure, it's notable. Nevertheless, I don't care to get involved in the argument. Thanks. None taken. The matter wasn't the sex tape per se, but the scandal that it caused, I'm not sure why the discussion was edited hours before the creation of the RFC, to change the header more than a year after it was created. Thanks for taking the time to reply and I hope you have a great day. :)186.45.113.170 (talk) 16:17, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki Loves Pride 2014

[edit]

Hi ColinATL. In case you are not aware, there is an upcoming campaign to improve coverage of LGBT-related topics on Wikipedia, culminating with an international edit-a-thon on June 21. See Atlanta's Wikipedia:Meetup/Atlanta/Wiki Loves Pride 2014 for more information. We are expanding the LGBT Atlanta, Georgia pages. This would be a tremendous help to Wikipedia and coverage of LGBT culture and history. Thanks for your consideration, and please let me know if you have any questions! --tdempsey (talk) 06:59, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
