Your change to Wikipedia's Username policy

Hi, I undid this edit as although it may or may not be true that edit filters block creation in those certain circumstances, I am unaware of any discussion or consensus for this to be officially part of the username policy itself. If I am wrong and there is such consensus please advise. Otherwise I’d raise at Wikipedia_talk:Username_policy to seek support, N.J.A. | talk 10:38, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. I was just thinking that it would help reduce confusion for users that are denied registration without knowing why (as it is now, these edit filter rules are a «hidden policy». Collarédon (talk) 09:20, 5 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
