The article Sambunot has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. CynofGavuf 10:08, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why I nominated the above articles about games for deletion

[edit]

Hi, I just wanted to add a personal message, explaining why I have nominated them.

I am really glad that you are keen to contribute to Wikipedia - we need keen, enthusiastic editors.

However, although Wikipedia has many articles on many subjects, "how to" guides are not part of out brief.

You might be interested in reading "What Wikipedia is not", which shows the kinds of things that aren't suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia.

If you read Wikipedia's article about WikiHow, you will see that they exist to host how-to guides! If you want to contribute to them (please note that they are not affiliated with either Wikipedia or the Wiki Media Foundation (who "run" Wikipedia) - they are a wiki, but nothing to do with us).

I know nothing about WikiHow (such as registering, uploading content, etc), but their website can be found at www.wikihow.com.

If you have any questions, or want help with anything else, please feel free to contact me (or another editor) by using one of the following methods:

  1. Leave a message on this page. It is on my watchlist, which means that I can see when the page is changed!
  2. Leave a message on my talk page
  3. Go into IRC Channel #wikipedia-en-help
  4. Leave a message on this page starting with {{helpme}} followed by your question - someone in the IRC help room will be over as soon as possible
  5. Leave a question on the Help Desk or on the New Contributors' Help Page
