Daniel Padin

Please do not simply remove the hoax tag from the above article unless you can provide fully verifiable third party sources to back up the content. None of the sources you have provided on the article even mention Daniel Padin. The Latinomagazine link where it is claimed he writes for the magazine has nothing about him whatsoever. Further to your message on my talk page, what research exactly? None of the sources you give to verify content on the article even mention Daniel Padin. Thank you for your message. The latinopm website which it is claimed he writes for has no mention whastsover on it's website of Daniel Padin. Equally the forbes link given has no mention of Daniel Padin. Please stop removing the hoax tag unless you can provide fully verifiable third party sources that actually back up any of the claims made in the article. One of the claims which has now been removed was "When he was young, Padin was a budding chemist. In the dark labyrinth of his basement, he created a superfood which eventually became Iams dog food. Paul Iams stole the recipe and claimed it as his own"

Considering the article states that he was born in 1980 and that IAMS was founded and the dog food created some 3-40 yeare before he was born it would have been rather difficult to have created it. There is absolutely nothing on google either other than a link to the wikipedia article.♦Tangerines♦·Talk 06:30, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

The Forbes list of Worlds Billionaires is very comprehensive. You use it to verify that Daniel Padin is worth US$2 billion. However, a check of the site reveals that there is no Daniel Padin listed. The list is easily checkable and formatted into alphabetical order. Page 30 contains everyone with a surname beginning with the letter "P", yet there is no Daniel Padin. As for my not mentioning the two other sources you quote, of course I didn't mention them as I can't check them. However I can check the other three sources and nowhere in any of those sources being used to verify content about him, is he mentioned, and as I mentioned above, it is not a matter of the links going dead, they still work perfectly they just do not verify the content. If of course you can provide a fully verifiable third party source which confirms the content and mentions him for instance being worth US$2b then by all means add it.♦Tangerines♦·Talk 06:47, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your latest message. Again you seem to be missing the point. I never said, nor suggested that you did add the content about IAMS, I was merely using that as one example of the claims being made in the article. As for this, "it is sad that google is your only means", where exactly did I say that my "only means" was google? I merely stated that there is absolutely nothing on google about Daniel Padin other than the wikipedia article. Nothing to do with it being my "only means". Perhaps you could provide a link on the Latino Perespectives website to his column in that magazine and to the link to the Forbes website confirming his US$2B net worth as both are currently being used as sources.♦Tangerines♦·Talk 06:56, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
