The article Michael B. Younan has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. • The spam was about the eye business: "The company also provides competitive pricing for a wide variety of eye wear and contact lenses, and is loacated at" (followed by address and phone number). See WP:SPAM. In addition, though, candidates for office aren't considered automatically notable as candidates. There are thousands of people who ran for Congress, and they don't all get Wikipedia articles. Here, there is no other indication given of how Mr. Younan meets the standards of WP:BIO.
