Request reason:

The subnet 116.202.0.0/16 has been blocked; somewhat recently. My IP address is within that range. I have owned it since 2019. And previously used it to edit Wikipedia. I do no harm and much of all of my daily browsing(outside of Wikipedia included) is done from this IP. I'd like it to be exempt from the abovementioned subnet block, despite reasons for the subnet block being valid Conciseman (talk) 13:27, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

That IP range is that of a webhost, it is generally not permitted to make edits via a webhost. The block does not affect merely reading Wikipedia. If you intend to make edits, please request an exemption per the instructions at WP:IPECPROXY. 331dot (talk) 14:11, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Got you. Thanks for the explanation and the prompt response. I thought that exemptions ought to be requested in this way(through unblocks). Will do as you suggested instead! Conciseman (talk) 20:26, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
