Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lofty Holloway, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page James Bye (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:15, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Redirects

[edit]

I know I already said it, but please don't create anymore unnecessary redirects like this: [1]. Small appearances on a disambig page, the recurring characters list or one other article doesn't justify it. - JuneGloom07 Talk 23:35, 28 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2019 election voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:07, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

H&A BMD list

[edit]

Hey. I had hoped that the editor who added Sean Coulson would provide the missing source [2], but thank you for adding it. Since there's a number of entries without sources, I think it's time to add them too. I'll be going through the mags to see what I can find there, before Google and cite episode become my friend for the rest of the afternoon. Hope you're well. - JuneGloom07 Talk 15:46, 21 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hey. I decided that merging the article to the 1993 character list was a better way to go than deletion. - JuneGloom07 Talk 23:35, 10 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I think it would be best to merge and redirect these to List of Family Affairs characters, unless you think you can save them? There are a few fictional characters and elements being PROD'd at the moment, so it might be worth checking on any articles that you created to see if they have sources and if not, whether they can be saved/merged. - JuneGloom07 Talk 23:29, 15 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

More reminders of my past as a Young, Green, Lazy editor... god. When I started these, Family Affairs had been dead a while and I didn't know jack about sourcing, out of universe, and tense. In My Naivety, I expected to get thing started then wait for other with a bit of knowledge to add to them. I've come a long way since then... Probably best to redirect. Conquistador2k6 00:65, 16 December 2019

I never watched Family Affairs, but did any of the above have really notable storylines/scenes? I don't mind having a quick check for sources, but I'm not quite sure where to start. - JuneGloom07 Talk 00:45, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thing is a great deal of these were regular characters (I only really began watching in 1999 a few months after the hard reset that killed the Harts due to crappy ratings), however a good chunk of them barely stayed a year and some of them were regular for two months at a time. Conquistador2k6 13:51 , 16 December 2019

I only just noticed this discussion. One day I will work on the list some more. I still miss the show, it was ahead of it's time.Rain the 1 23:44, 20 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
