Hi! First let me welcome you to wikipedia. Second, I would be all to happy if you would give us some help on Chad; the sad truth is that there are are very few editors interested in chad-related topics, and only one, Kohuzi, has ever been in the country for some time. We few "Chadians" have tried to better and expand Chadian articles, and create new articles, and part of this effort was WikiProject Chad; if you want to partecipate, it's free of charge ;-) Also, if you want to see what wikipedia has on Chad, you may wan't to see List of Chad-related topics.--Aldux 19:34, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

And naturally, for whatever doubts, questions, etc, come to your mind, don't be afraid to ask me!--Aldux 19:37, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome aboard[edit]

Let me add my welcome to the one from Aldux. It's great to hear from somebody whose got some recent knowledge of Chad. I lived in N'Djamena for four years, in the 70s and I've tried to keep in touch since then but it's not easy. Please do have a look at the Chad articles and, if you see anything that you want to add to, or to correct, please do. BE BOLD!

For example, I've recently added a few bits to Transport in Chad and would be very grateful if you could cast your eye over it. Best wishes. Kahuzi 17:08, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New images for Chad pages[edit]

Re comments on Talk:Chad, I'd welcome any contributions you can make. Almost any pictures of Chadian life and people would add impact to the Chad pages. My criticism of the two current portraits on the Chad page, is that there is nothing particularly "Chadian" about them -- these two girls could be from many African or, indeed, Middle-Eastern contries.
