Hi,

I am Dhanan, Glad to know that we both share interest in cognitive neuroscience :)

By the way, I am writing this to request you to remove merge template you placed in articles Neural mechanisms behind shifts of attention and Attention which suggests merging the first article to the second.

I found that you placed the request on 3rd July 2007; it is possible that the contents of both the articles might have changed a lot since then.

Today, I feel that Neural mechanisms behind shifts of attention is an informative article on a very specific topic where as Attention is another good article on a generic topic.

The content of Neural mechanisms behind shifts of attention warrants its independent existence.

Could you please revisit these articles and re-assess your request to merge them.

I have removed the {{prod}} tag from Tactition, which you proposed for deletion, and am leaving you this message to explain why. While it may be appropriate to cover the term in a larger article, leaving a redirect, the term does seem to exist in the context in which it is used, to judge by this book for instance and this google scholar search. For that reason, I do not believe that deletion by that rationale would be uncontroversial, and prods are for uncontroversial deletions only. If you still think the article should be deleted, feel free to list it at article for deletion. Otherwise, you may wish to consider a merge or appropriate redirect. Thanks. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 18:58, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think the process you're looking for is WP:Requested Moves. Regards, Scog (talk) 20:33, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The move has been done! Thanks for letting me know - no worries about the delay. -- Natalya 16:33, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
