Hello, Red user names, and red links in general are like red flags to many editors. Or at least to one. If you put something, anything on your user page you will turn into a blue link. Also, there is a strong prejudice among other editors about folks editing articles that they have a direct connection to. Which your user name seems to suggest. Something to think about. As you look at this (I think) you can look up at the upper left of the page and see a series of tabs, one of which is a blue link that says talk. It is blue because there is something on the page. Next to it is is the red user page link. If you click on that you will arrive at a blank page. Type in "Hello" or something. Once you save it your name will appear as a blue link. Also, when you post something, such as you did at my talk page, after your post type 4 of these ~ (shift, top key on your keyboard, upper left). That will sign and date stamp your posting. I think what you are doing is a good thing, a change of name needs to be reflected on wikipedia, just should you decide that the article needs work and you are the one to do it, I'd register again with a different name. There are lots of things that one might put on such a page. It is your personal space, and you can pretty much do with it what you will. 7&6=thirteen () 18:53, 23 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
